    1. Do they require cutting/drilling to install?

    No, our full guard front bumpers are designed to be fully bolt on to Chevy, Ford, Ram, and GMC trucks without needing to cut or drill. The only part that may require cutting is the inner fender liner to match the higher clearance angle of the bumper, but it can be tucked behind the bumper if preferred.
    2. What is the difference between a grille guard and a full guard bumper

    A standard grille guard is typically a separate tube style accessory that bolts onto your factory bumper. A full guard bumper is a complete, heavy-duty replacement for your factory bumper offering significantly higher impact protection and even better approach angles.
    3. Will a full guard bumper actually protect my truck?

    Yes. Our full guard bumpers are engineering to withstand impacts. By replacing the plastic factory bumper with our heavy-gauge steel, it offers protection for vital engine components like the radiator and headlights often allowing the truck to drive away from a collision that would otherwise total a stock truck.
    4. How much does a full guard bumper weigh?

    Our full guard bumpers range from 170 to just under 300lbs depending on the vehicle make and model. Most modern 3/4 ton and 1-ton trucks like 2500 and 3500s handle the weight well on stock suspension.
    5. Do they work with my truck's sensors?

    Yes, our full guard bumpers are designed to be fully compatible with your truck's sensors like adaptive cruise control, parking, radar modules, and front facing cameras.
    6. Will a heavy-duty bumper void my truck's warranty?

    Generally, installing an aftermarket bumper does not void your entire vehicle warranty. A dealer must prove that the aftermarket part caused the specific failure in question to deny a warranty claim. However, the bumper itself is not covered by OEM warranty but is covered from manufacturer defects by us.
    7. Will my steel bumper have rust issues?

    Our full guard bumpers are constructed from heavy-duty steel which can rust if not properly coated. All of our full guard bumpers come with a premium matte black powder coat finish that prevent rust and corrosion. If you do happen to get a scratch in the finish, it can be easily fixed with our touch up paint.
